Does anyone remember that site that we had in the "music" section that you could create your own music list? I wish I could locate it. _________________ "The most important question to ask about any work is "how does this serve the world?"" ~ by Marianne Williamson |

FROM OUR HOME…………TO YOURS! Happy Thanksgiving.
There once was a man who had nothing for his family to eat. He had an old rifle and three bullets.
So, he decided that he would go out hunting and kill some wild game for dinner.
As he went down the road, he saw a rabbit. He shot at the rabbit and missed it. The rabbit ran away.
Then he saw a squirrel and fired a shot at the squirrel but missed it. The squirrel disappeared into a hole in a cottonwood tree.
As he went further, he saw a large wild "Tom" turkey in the tree, but he had only one bullet remaining.
A voice spoke to him and said, "Pray first, aim high, and stay focused.
However, at the same time, he saw a deer which was a better kill. He brought the gun down and aimed at the deer. But, then he saw a rattlesnake between his legs about to bite him, so he naturally brought the gun down further to shoot the rattlesnake.
Still, the voice said again to him, "I said, 'Pray, Aim high, and Stay focused."
So, the man decided to listen to God's voice. He prayed, then aimed the gun high up in the tree, and shot the wild turkey.
The bullet bounced off the turkey and killed the deer. The handle fell off the gun, hit the snake in the head, and killed it. And, when the gun had gone off, it knocked him into a pond.
When he stood up to look around, he had fish in all his pockets, a dead deer, and a turkey for his family to eat.
The snake (Satan) was dead simply because the man listened to God.
Moral of the story:
Pray first before you do anything, aim and shoot high in your goals, and stay focused on God.
Never let others discourage you concerning your past. The past is exactly that, "the past."
Live every day one day at a time, and remember that only God knows our future.
Do not look to man for your blessings, but look to the doors that only He has prepared in advance for you in your favor.
Wait, be still, and patient: keep God first, and everything else will follow.
Pass this on in order that someone else might be blessed.
Don't worry about tomorrow, God is already there!!! _________________ "The most important question to ask about any work is "how does this serve the world?"" ~ by Marianne Williamson |

Just an update! Ken had his MRI yesterday, after chemo, and no sign of another tumor grown on his brain! His wife is ecstatic as is everyone. Now he will have another one in two months...I believe every two months as this is the type they say grows again and again...so keep the prayers going as he has a clean MRI!!! Hugs, Cyn

Please let me know if you like the new forum layout. While I like it as in its looks...its very complicated to find when a new message has been posted??? Course, not that too many new messages have been posted...but you know what I mean. Let me know your thoughts! The new look is ok, sorry I haven't posted in a very long time! Sahme on me, but.....as you all know my Mom passed away 6 months ago and I have my Dad living with me. Well.....he is in the first stages of Alzheimers and it is without a doubt a 36/7 job! It's worse than having a 2 yr old. I am so physically worn out and have been sick myself for 5 months because I am so stressed with no help at all!
I'm very glad the wheels of justice are starting to turn and hopefully this will come to an end soon with DP behind bars for the rest of his miserable life!
I hope you all are well and doing good. Take care and I'll come by and visit every chance I get.

Pnut that is a very difficult job. And you're right...extremely stressful. Have you contacted your Alz Association for assistance? Also, group support. They are a wonderful organization. My hugs, hopes and prayers that your burden will be lessened and that family will step up and help you. _________________ "The most important question to ask about any work is "how does this serve the world?"" ~ by Marianne Williamson |

Just wanted to say hi and thank you for letting me join. I see some familiar faces here.. I used to be flipper and I wanted to say I am sorry for anything that happened in the past. I learned the error of my ways. And I do like the new color.. If anyone has any questions they can send me a pm.. |
